DaniMer believes peoples lives can be improved and the environment can be better protected by utilizing renewable resources to manufacture articles that are intended for short-term use. One of our goals is to reduce dependence on petroleum and enable people and communities to benefit from environmentally friendly products.

Danimer works with customers to create value in applications where:

removal and disposal of petroleum derived plastic is an expense incurred by the customer or supplier
petroleum derived plastic coatings prevent paper and cardboard products from being recycled and repulped
the need exists for a barrier to materials that cause odor or are commonly used as biocides
there is a need for superior resistance to UV degradation
there is a strong need and/or desire to use plastic produced from renewable, non-petroleum based raw materials
